Rose I. Bullock passed away Saturday, April 29, at JFK Hospital in Edison.

She was 84 years of age.

Born in New Brunswick, she resided in Edison Township. Rose was active in her community. She was President of the VFW, Edison Post 3117, Ladies Auxiliary. In this role, Rose was a strong advocate for NJ Veterans. She was also a member of the Military Order of the Cooties and served as President of that organization.

Rose visited VA hospitals with the Cooties providing support to veterans.

Rose liked the outdoors and spent many wonderful summers camping on the Delaware riverside with her family and friends. She came from a musical family. Both her parents and Grand-Father were musicians. Music was a big part of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph J. Bullock. She is survived by her loving sons, Steve Bullock, and his wife Lisa. Also Robert Bullock and his wife Griseldis. She has three grandchildren, John, Matthew and Kimberly.

Rose was a lifelong supporter for animal welfare and rescue. The family is asking, in lieu of flowers. Please make a donation to the Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 8, from 10:00-11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Burial will follow at Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Cemetery in Wrightstown.
